STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

By making a purchase at Chonky Bakery — whether through chonkybakery.id, WhatsApp, Shopee, Instagram, or any other platform — the customer is deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all of the following terms and conditions.
1. Orders & Confirmation
1.1 All orders are considered valid upon receiving written confirmation from Chonky Bakery via WhatsApp, email, or system notification.
1.2 Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of order details (product type, quantity, delivery address, and date) before making payment.
1.3 Chonky Bakery reserves the right to decline or cancel orders that cannot be fulfilled due to limited ingredients, production capacity, or other reasonable circumstances, with notification to the customer and a full refund.
1.4 Custom cake orders require a minimum of 3 working days' notice before the requested delivery or pickup date. Orders placed outside this window cannot be guaranteed.
1.5 The customer explicitly waives any right to apply their own standard terms and conditions of purchase, even if those terms were drawn up after these terms and conditions.
2. Pricing & Payment
2.1 All prices listed include applicable taxes and are in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
2.2 Prices may change at any time without prior notice. The price applicable is the one confirmed at the time of order.
2.3 Payment must be completed within 1x24 hours of order confirmation, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unpaid orders beyond this window may be automatically cancelled.
2.4 Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer (BCA), QRIS (all supporting e-wallet applications), Xendit
2.5 In the event of payment delay exceeding 3 working days without notice, Chonky Bakery reserves the right to cancel the order and release the production slot.
2.6 For orders exceeding Rp 500,000, Chonky Bakery may request a 50% deposit (down payment) before commencing production.
3. Products & Quality
3.1 Chonky Bakery uses premium quality & Halal-certified ingredients in all products.
3.2 Chonky Bakery products are made artisan-style in small batches. The appearance of products may slightly differ from photos displayed on social media or the website, without affecting quality or taste.
3.3 Chonky Bakery cannot guarantee that its products are free from allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, or soy. Customers with allergies or specific medical conditions must inform us before placing an order.
3.4 Ingredient information is available upon request via WhatsApp or email.
4. Shipping & Delivery
4.1 Chonky Bakery delivers across Indonesia through courier partners including JNE, GrabExpress, GoSend, and others subject to availability.
4.2 Shipping costs are borne by the customer and calculated based on package weight, dimensions, and delivery distance.
4.3 Products requiring special handling (such as tiered cakes or temperature-sensitive items) are only available for delivery via instant couriers (GrabExpress/GoSend) within the Jabodetabek area.
4.4 Estimated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. Delays caused by couriers or circumstances beyond Chonky Bakery's control (weather, traffic, natural disasters) are not the responsibility of Chonky Bakery.
4.5 Chonky Bakery is not liable for product damage caused by improper handling by the courier after the package has been handed over. Customers are advised to document the condition of the package upon receipt.
4.6 Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the package has been handed to the courier.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
5.1 Order cancellations may be made no later than 24 hours before the scheduled production start, by contacting Chonky Bakery via WhatsApp or email.
5.2 Cancellations made after production has begun cannot be processed and no refund will be issued.
5.3 Refunds will be processed within 3–7 working days to the same account or payment method used during the transaction.
5.4 Chonky Bakery does not accept returns of food products that have already been received by the customer, unless there is a proven production defect (product damaged upon receipt, wrong product delivered, or product not matching the order).
5.5 Claims for defective products or order errors must be submitted within 2 hours of receiving the product, accompanied by photos as evidence, via WhatsApp to Chonky Bakery's official number.
6. Personal Data & Privacy
6.1 Personal data collected during the purchase process (name, address, phone number, email) is used solely for order processing, delivery, and service-related communications.
6.2 Chonky Bakery will not sell, rent, or share customers' personal data with third parties for commercial purposes without explicit consent.
6.3 By placing an order, the customer agrees to the use of their data for operational purposes and, if willing, promotional communications from Chonky Bakery.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All content on chonkybakery.id and Chonky Bakery's social media — including photos, videos, designs, recipes, and text — is the exclusive property of Chonky Bakery and is protected under Indonesian copyright law.
7.2 Reproduction, distribution, or use of Chonky Bakery's content for commercial purposes without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Chonky Bakery is responsible for providing quality products in accordance with the order. However, Chonky Bakery's liability is limited to the value of the order paid by the customer.
8.2 Chonky Bakery is not liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, or third-party claims arising from the purchase or use of its products.
8.3 Chonky Bakery cannot be required to appear as a third party in any claim for damages filed against the customer by an end consumer (in the case of purchases for resale).
9. Governing Law
9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
9.2 Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms and conditions shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If no agreement is reached, both parties agree to resolve the dispute through the competent court in Tangerang Selatan, Banten.
10. Changes to Terms & Conditions
10.1 Chonky Bakery reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be published on chonkybakery.id and take effect from the date of publication.
10.2 Continued use of Chonky Bakery's services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms and conditions.
